Please read before booking
These terms apply to every card cleaning and restoration order placed with MJs Card Cleaning.
By sending your card(s) to MJs Card Cleaning, you agree to these terms
1. Risk
Card restoration is not an exact science. All cards react differently to humidifying and cleaning. There is an inherent risk that a card may react negatively to the process.
2. No Guarantee
I will always work to the best of my ability, but I cannot guarantee a specific result. Restoration may fully improve, partially improve, or in rare cases not improve a card's condition.
3. Liability
While every care is taken throughout the restoration process, we are unable to accept liability for any damage, change in condition, or impact on market value that may result.
4. Slab Cracks
Slab cracking is a delicate process and carries some risk of damage to the card inside. As this process is irreversible, please be aware that I'm unable to accept liability for any damage that may occur.
5. Damage
If your card is damaged while in our care, you remain responsible for paying the full price of the service you chose. We are not liable for the card's market value or for any amount beyond the service fee.
6. Public Statements
If an issue arises with your card, you agree to contact us directly and resolve it privately. You may not make public claims (including on social media) that we damaged your card. Making false or misleading public statements about damage may result in legal action being taken against you.
Payments, deposit and shipping
- You pay a deposit of 20% of the order total (minimum £5.00) when you book. The remaining balance is paid before your cards are sent back to you.

- High-value cards add a £20.00 per-card handling surcharge for every £1,000 of estimated value (e.g. £2,000 = £40, £3,000 = £60) to cover the extra care and packaging they need.
- Discount codes apply to services and add-ons only — shipping is always charged in full — and only when the order meets the code’s minimum number of cards.
- Turnaround is typically 5–10 working days from arrival, or 1–3 weeks if you add Fast Track. Times are estimates, not guarantees.
